The Opticare unit fits around most eye dropper bottles. It has flexible panels on the side which you squeeze to obtain a controlled release of the eyedrops. The eyepiece helps position the dropper over your eye, and because it is black you cannot see the drop coming. So you do not blink. The eye remains open to receive the medication.
